The Schiedel ICID Twin Wall Flue system is a system designed for multiple applications.
About Schiedel Twin Wall Flue system
It is an insulated, sectional flue system, made from stainless steel, usually used where no existing masonry chimney is available.
ICID is ideal for traditional stoves and chimneys and can also be used for a variety of other appliances including condensing boilers. This is because the system can be fitted with seals to contain liquids from condensation.
The ground-breaking design allows for the outer case to be load-bearing, while the inside is then free to expand as needed. This results in an entire system which makes provision for thermal expansion, even in every joint.
The flue lining is available in two versions; a bright polished stainless steel or a matt black stainless steel outer case. The Schiedel Twin Wall Flue Eco ICID can operate at a temperature of 450°C and has an insulation thickness of 2.5 cm. As the lining is manufactured from stainless steel it is corrosion-resistant. It also features a handy twist-lock system that is ideal for securing the entire unit.
